Writing Rubrics

Since we seem to be starting out this year on the topic of writing, here’s another one. Do you ever have trouble grading your students’ compositions? It won’t be so difficult if you use a rubric. A rubric takes the mystery out of grading, because it gives both you and your student a guideline as to what is required for the assigned paper. Rubrics for all types of writing are available on the internet. A few sites worth checking are:
