National Day of Prayer

Today is the National Day of Prayer. The call for prayer follows our Founding Fathers’ days of fasting and repentance. In 1952, Pres. Harry Truman declared a National Day of Prayer and in 1988, Pres. Ronald Reagan signed a law designating that it would be observed on the first Thursday in May. Please click on the link to learn more about this important day:
