Chocolate Chips, Waffles, and Root Beer – Oh My!

Today is National Chocolate Chip Day, tomorrow is National Waffle Day, and the next day is National Root Beer Float Day. These are some of my son’s favorite foods, so I guess this is his lucky week! He will most likely have chocolate chip waffles and a root beer float to go with it. (If you aren’t into sweets for breakfast, this combination would be good for dessert or a summer afternoon snack.)

Hint: If you don’t have a waffle maker, buy a box of frozen homestyle or buttermilk waffles and place chocolate chips in the little squares. Tastes better than the store-bought chocolate chip waffles.
