If you’re shopping online, in addition to the challenge of finding the right gift and staying within your budget, you’ll want some assurance that the items will arrive by Christmas.
There’s still time to find the perfect gifts at the best prices for everyone on your gift list. But you should place your order this weekend; otherwise you’ll run the risk of your gifts not arriving in time.
Many merchants, especially Amazon.com, take great care to expedite their processes during the holiday season, and there are numerous others that offer a special Christmas delivery guarantee. However, not all online retailers are that reliable.
Also, don’t wait too long to make your online purchases, as there are some potential risks involved in procrastinating just a little too much at this time of year. I’ve placed items in my shopping cart only to return an hour later and find that they’ve been sold out in the meantime.
Still in need of gift ideas? Check out my 2012 Homeschool Gift Guide over at Knowledge House. I hand-picked a nice selection of homeschool-friendly items for all ages, many of which we have in our own home. Simply click through the Amazon links, add to your cart, and you’re done!
Place your order of $25 or more eligible Amazon.com products this weekend and get FREE Super Saver Shipping. (They say you have until Tuesday the 18th, but I personally think that would be cutting it a little too close.)
