Fire Prevention Week “Prevent Kitchen Fires” October 6-12

Fire Prevention Week is the longest running public health and safety observance on record, according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Fire Prevention Week was established to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire, the tragic 1871 conflagration that killed over 250 people, left 100,000 homeless, and destroyed over 17,400 structures.  Click on the image below to get fire prevention resources for teachers, parents, and kids.
