Celebrate MLK Jr. Day with “I Have a Dream” Speech and Video

Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrates the birthday of the historical civil rights leader. MLK Jr.’s birthday is actually on January 15, but each year the federal holiday is observed near that date.

In his speech he famously stated, “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal’.”
