Celebrate Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss

March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Theodor Seuss Geisel, the famous children’s author, was born on this day 111 years ago. Today is not only Dr. Seuss’ birthday, but also Read Across America Day. For years, schools around the country have celebrated with readings of Dr. Seuss books (Cat in the Hat, Fox in Socks, Hop on Pop, etc.) and character costumes.
