Social Studies Lesson Plans for Grades 7-12

Here are a few Social Studies lesson plans from a Graduate student at SUNY Plattsburgh, for Grades 7 through 12.

Massachusetts Bay Colony Lesson Plan – Students will answer the six Journalistic Questions (who, what, where, when, and why is it important) about the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Technology Lesson Plan – This lesson is intended for a High School “Participation in Government” class. (Students are instructed to research a New York Congressional Representative on the Internet, but if you live in another state you could instead research a Congressman from there.)

Directed Reading Lesson Plan – A lesson plan to accompany the book Joseph Plumb Martin: A Narrative of a Revolutionary Soldier (the memoir was previously published as Private Yankee Doodle). —–>
